The following procedures describe how to add an Internet or a work domain to the list of available domains associated with a Group Policy object (GPO). To add a domain to the list, specify an address, or range of addresses, in the target domain.

Make sure that the list of Internet or work domains is not empty because this removes the mappings, which leads to connectivity issues on the device. Enter Internet or work domains into one GPO to avoid conflicts between multiple GPOs.

When you add more than one domain, you should enter the domains in order, from the most specific to the most general. For example, if you want to add the following three domains:

* (work domain)

*.* (Internet domain)

*.contoso.com (work domain)

You would add the new domains in the following order:

1. *.contoso.com (most specific)

2. *.*

3. * (most general)

  1. In the Group Policy Management Console, expand Group Policy Objectsand then locate the target GPO.
