The cmdlets in this section allow you to administer System Center Mobile Device Manager recovery passwords for managed Windows Mobile devices. If a user forgets the device password, the recovery password may be used to unlock the device and reset the device password.
A new recovery password is automatically generated on the device and sent to the server when the password reset operation is completed successfully. A new recovery password is also created when the User Reset of PasswordGroup Policy setting is changed to Enabledon the device with using MDM Serverselected.
