After an administrator has created the enrollment request, the customer must complete the enrollment from the Windows Mobile device.
These instructions assume the following:
- MDM Enrollment Server is configured correctly
- The device can access MDM Enrollment Server
- An enrollment request has been created on MDM Enrollment
- The date on the device is set correctly
- The device has network connectivity
To enroll a Windows Mobile device
On the Windows Mobile device, choose Start, choose Settings, and then choose Connections.
On the menu, choose Domain Enrollto begin enrollment.
Note: On Windows Mobile 6 Standard, you may have to choose Moreto scroll down the page and view the Domain Enrolloption.
On the Domain Enrollment screen, choose Enroll.
A notification screen appears. Choose Nextto continue.
In the E-mailbox, enter the enrollment ID supplied by the administrator. Choose Next.
A notification screen appears to inform you that the Enrollment ID is processing.
If the device cannot connect to the server, you may have to enter the enrollment ID information and the external MDM Enrollment Server URL. Type this information, and then choose Nextto continue.
Type the enrollment password that you received in the Pre-Enrollment Wizard, and then choose Next.
A notification screen appears to inform you that the device is enrolling.
On the Infoscreen, a notification screen appears to inform you that the device is enrolling on the domain. Choose Dismissto close this message.
Note: On Windows Mobile 6 Professional and Windows Mobile 6 Standard, choose Dismissto continue.
If a restart notification appears, choose Now.
After the device has restarted, a notification screen appears to inform you that the domain enrollment process has successfully completed. This may take several minutes. Choose Dismiss.
