The following procedure shows you how to remove a managed Windows Mobile device from a group by using Mobile Device Manager Software Distribution Console. You can remove a managed device from all device groups except for the All Devicesgroup.

To remove a device from a device group

  1. In the navigation pane, expand the Deviceslist and select the group that contains the managed devices that you want to remove.

  2. Right-click the managed device that you want to remove from a group, and then select Change Membership.

  3. In the Set Device Group Membershipbox, clear the device groups from which you want to remove the managed device, and then choose OK.
