SCM makes it easier for you to find specific settings by allowing you to filter setting names. There are two primary search options that you can use to find baseline settings in SCM:

To use the Setting search box

  1. In the Baseline Library pane, click the product baseline of interest to you, and then in the Baseline Information pane, above the baseline setting groups, click the Advanced View button to display the Setting search box, as indicated in the following figure.

  2. In the Setting search box, type the partial name or full name of the setting, and then press Enter.
  3. In the Baseline Information pane, in the Name column, reference the setting name in the search results that maps to the product baseline of interest to you.

To use the Global setting search box

  1. Above the Action pane, in the Global setting search box as indicated in the following figure, type the partial name or full name of the setting, and then press Enter.

  2. In the Baseline Information pane, in the Name column, reference the setting name in the search results that maps to the baseline name of interest to you in the Baseline column.
    Note: Search terms are not case sensitive.
