Use this dialog box to connect the Essentials 2010 console to a registered Essentials management server.
This dialog box contains the following elements.
- Recent Connections
- Displays a list of Essentials management servers that you have
previously connected to using the Essentials console. This element
contains the following items:
- Server Name: Displays the computer
name of the server.
- Management Group: Displays the name of
the Management Group that the server belongs to.
- Server Name: Displays the computer
name of the server.
- Registered Servers
- Displays a list of Essentials management servers that are
registered in Active Directory Domain Services. This element
contains the following items:
- Server Name: Displays the fully
qualified domain name of the server.
- Management Group: Displays the name of
the Management Group that the server belongs to.
- Server Name: Displays the fully
qualified domain name of the server.
- Server name
- Displays the name of the server to connect to.
- Connect
- Connects to the server specified in Server name.
- Cancel
- Closes this dialog box without connecting to a server.
