Use the General tab to give a name and description to the Web application, specify which management pack the object is a part of, and set authentication and proxy information.
The General tab contains the following elements:
- Web Application Name
- Specifies the name of your Web application.
- Description
- Specifies the description of the Web application.
- Management Pack
- Specifies what Management Pack in which the object resides.
- Authentication Method
- Specifies which authentication method to use for requests in the transaction.
- User Account
- Specifies the user account to use for authentication.
- Use a proxy server to connect
- Specifies whether a proxy server should be used during requests.
- Address
- Specifies the proxy server address.
- Port
- Specifies the port for the proxy server.
- Authentication Method
- Specifies the authentication method for the proxy server.
- User Account
- Specifies the user account to use for authentication with the proxy server.
