Use the Error Transmission tab of the System Center Essentials Global Management Group Settings - Privacy Dialog Box to specify settings for transmitting error reports to Microsoft.

This tab contains the following elements.

Filter

Opens the System Center Essentials Error Forwarding Filters Dialog Box, where you can select filters to apply to the error reports sent to Microsoft.
Upload diagnostic data collection requests

Specifies that diagnostic data is uploaded to Microsoft along with error reports.
Upload additional files to Microsoft

Specifies that additional files can be included with the diagnostic data uploaded to Microsoft.
Upload additional registry information to Microsoft

Specifies that additional registry settings are included with the diagnostic data uploaded to Microsoft.
Upload results of WMI queries to Microsoft

Specifies that the results of WMI queries are included with the diagnostic data uploaded to Microsoft.
Upload memory dumps to Microsoft

Specifies that memory dumps are included with the diagnostic data uploaded to Microsoft.
Maximum number of CAB files to send to Microsoft per error group

Provides a spin box that you can use to specify the maximum number (per error group) of CAB files that are sent to Microsoft.
Display links to solution from Microsoft on error reporting computers

Specifies that links to Microsoft sites with possible solutions to the error are displayed on the computers that report an error.
Display links to surveys from Microsoft on error reporting computers

Specifies that links to a Microsoft customer survey are displayed on computers reporting errors.
Default solution link when no Microsoft solution is available

A drop-down box with a list of URL prefixes and a text box where you can enter the URL for an alternate site when no Microsoft solution link is available.
