Use the following procedure to view software inventory for a managed computer in the System Center Essentials 2010 console.

To view software inventory

  1. In the Essentials console, click Computers.

  2. In the Computers pane, select a computer group that contains the managed computer for which you want to view software inventory.

  3. In the Views pane, double-click the computer that you want to view software inventory for.

  4. Click the Installed Software tab to view a list with the name, version and vendor of software installed on the selected computer.

    The Installed Software Applications dialog box lists the name and version of software installed on the selected computer.
