Use the Security tab on the Management Server Properties dialog box to specify security settings for agent-managed computers.
This tab contains the following elements.
- Reject new manual agent installation
- Enabled only if you have selected Override global server settings. Specifies that new installations of manual agents be rejected.
- Review new manual agent installations in pending management view
- Enabled only if you have selected Override global server settings. Specifies that new installations of manual agents be reviewed.
- Auto-approve new manually installed agents
- Enabled only if you have selected Override global server settings and Review new manual agent installations in pending management view. Specifies that new installations of manual agents be automatically approved.
- Override global server settings
- Specifies that you can override global server settings.
- Allow this server to act as a proxy and discover managed objects on other computers
- Specifies that the Management Server acts as a proxy and can discover managed objects on other computers.
