When you run a simulation and Operations Manager clustering requirements are not met by clustering conditions present in the capacity model, one of the following misconfiguration messages appear:
To enable clustering, the active <ComponentName> server must have its Data and Log files mapped to separate volumes on a SAN.
The Data and Log files must be mapped to separate volumes on the SAN.
The active and passive nodes of the clustered <ComponentName> must be connected to the same SAN.
The <ComponentName1> and the passive node of the clustered <ComponentName2> cannot be deployed on the same computer.
Typically, one of these adjustment messages appears when you have modified a capacity model and chosen to store a combination of log files, data files, replica data, and replica log files on the same disk or SAN volume.
To make the required adjustments to address the misconfiguration issues, use the To edit a server role in the Model Editor procedure in the How to Edit a Server Hardware Configuration or a Server Role in the Model Editor topic, and then map the storage configuration of each file to the appropriate volume.
