At this stage of the Exchange Server 2007 scenario for System Center Capacity Planner 2007, you save your Exchange Server capacity model with a .sam file name extension. You can reuse this file later to continue to modify it.
To save an Exchange Server SAM file-
In the Model Editor, click Save.

In the Save As dialog box, browse to the folder that you want to save the file in, type the file name to save, and click Save.
If you attempt to open a saved capacity model file and Capacity Planner is already running, the file does not open. You can open saved capacity model files from the File menu, or by closing Capacity Planner and then opening the saved file from Windows Explorer.
