Signing represents the client's hexadecimal-encoded public certificate, in Configuration Manager. It is usually obtained from the pbCertEncoded property of the certificate context. Hexadecimal-encoding the public certificate can be accomplished with a function similar to ByteToStr() on MSDN. For more information, see the MSDN documentation for ByteToStr.

Remarks

The certificate must be hexadecimal-encoded. In mixed mode the certificate can be self-signed. In native mode, the certificate must be issued by a management point trusted certification authority (CA).
