IProgram::DependentPackageId is a read-only property, in Configuration Manager, that indicates the ID of the package to which the current program's dependent program belongs.

Parameters
- pVal
- Data type: BSTRQualifiers: [out, retval]Pointer to the ID of the package to which the current program's dependent program belongs.
Return Values
An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:
- S_OK
- The method succeeded.
Remarks
Use this property along with DependentProgId to determine the program to which the current program depends.
