The SMS_TaskSequence_VariableConditionExpression Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) class is an SMS Provider server class, in Configuration Manager, that represents a condition expression to check for the existence of a variable and, optionally, compare the variable to a specific value.

This condition expression is used to test the value of a task sequence variable. For example, to perform a step only if the task sequence is not running under Windows PE, you would set the following:

Variable - _SMSTSInWinPE.

Operator - equals

Value - false
