MPSite element, in Configuration Manager, contains information about the site whose distribution points are being returned. The information contained here is the site code of the site where the distribution points belong and the master (or assignment) site code of this site. The client uses this information to determine if it has complete information or whether it needs to fall back to a different site or management point. The number of MPSite elements is determined by the number of Site elements which in turn is determined by the number of sites whose boundaries the client is in.

Attribute Description

SiteCode="XXX"

The returned site code.

MasterSiteCode="XXX"

The returned master site code (also known as the assignment site code). In the case of a proxy site, MasterSiteCode is the parent primary site that a client can be assigned to.

SiteLocality="XXX"

The three possible values are Local, which means the caller is in the local roaming boundaries. Remote means the caller is in the remote roaming boundaries. Fallback is the fallback management point. This is the assigned site management point.
