As

)
public:
StatusMessagePropertyAttribute(

String^
name
)

Parameters

name
String
When Name is specified, the property is serialized to XML using the name specified in Name. Otherwise, the property name that uses this attribute is used.

For example, you can create a property called MyId (which satisfies FxCop naming rules), but the XML blob is expecting MyID (which doesn't satisfy FxCop naming rules). By specifying a Name, you can have your property named MyId, but have it serialize as MyID.
