When you make revisions to an application or to a deployment
type that is contained in an application,
Microsoft System Center 2012
Configuration Manager creates a new revision of the
application. You can display the history of each application
revision. You can also view its properties, restore a previous
revision of an application, or delete an old revision.
Important |
If you restore an application revision or create a new
application revision and make changes to the detection method of
one of the applications deployment types, then the installed copies
of the application might be automatically replaced when the
deployment schedule is next evaluated. For more control over
application replacement, create a new application that supersedes
the application that you want to replace and then deploy this
application to the required collection. For more information, see
How to Use
Application Supersedence in Configuration Manager. |
