Cloning a report in Configuration Manager 2007 is the easiest way to create a new report. The cloned report uses the SQL statement and other properties from the existing report, which can then be modified to retrieve the desired information. Use the following procedure to clone a predefined Configuration Manager report.

Procedure

To clone a report

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Reporting / Reports.

  2. Right-click the report to be cloned, and then click Clone.

  3. Type the name of the new report in the New report name text box, and then click OK. The report name is required and must be unique.

  4. To modify the report properties, right-click the new report and then click Properties. For information about modifying the properties for a report, see How to Modify a Configuration Manager Report.
