The Configuration Manager 2007 Network Access Protection (NAP) views contain information about client restriction history and the NAP error codes. The NAP status views provide summary information about the NAP systems and NAP restrictions, and the NAP hardware inventory view contains a list of clients with the NAP client installed.

The following sections provide detailed information about NAP views, NAP status views, and NAP hardware inventory views.

NAP Views

The NAP views are described in the following table.

NAP View Description

v_ClientRestrictionHistory

Lists information about the Configuration Manager clients, by ResourceID, that have been in a NAP restricted state, including the start and end dates of the restriction, the last statement of health time, the last evaluation time, the time when the NAP policy was last modified, and so on.

The view can be joined with other views by using the ResourceID column.

v_NAPErrorCodeDescription

Lists the NAP error codes and a description for each.

The view can be joined with other views by using the ErrorCode column.

NAP Status Views

The NAP status views contain summary information about the NAP systems and restrictions. For more information about the status views, see Status Views. The status views that contain NAP information are described in the following table.

NAP View Description

v_NAPRestrictionErrorSummary

Lists NAP error messages that have been reported and the count of errors over the last day, last 7 days, and last 30 days.

It is unlikely that this view will be joined to other views.

v_NAPRestrictionSummary

Lists the software updates, by CI_ID and CI_UniqueID, bulletin ID, article ID, and the count of NAP restrictions over the last day, last 7 days, and last 30 days for the update.

The view can be joined to other views by using the CI_ID and CI_UniqueID columns.

v_NAPSystemInfo

Lists the total count of Configuration Manager 2007 clients, how many clients can have the NAP client installed on them, how many clients are not capable of having the NAP client installed on them, how many clients already have the NAP client installed on them, and how many clients are in a restricted state.

It is unlikely that this view will be joined to other views.

NAP Hardware Inventory View

The NAP hardware inventory view contains information about the NAP clients. For more information about hardware inventory views, see Hardware Inventory Views. The hardware inventory view that contains NAP information is described in the following table.

NAP View Description

v_GS_NAPCLIENT

Lists information about the Configuration Manager clients with the NAP client installed, including whether the client is NAP enabled, the NAP protocol version, system isolation state, and so on.

The view can be joined with other views by using the ResourceID column.
