To enable or disable schema validation for provisioning engines

Important

• You should enable schema validation only when testing new functionality. If you enable schema schema validation in a production environment, you might experience significant performance problems.

1. Open Provisioning Manager.
2. In the console tree, double-click Provisioning Servers.
3. Right-click Provisioning Engines, and then click Properties.
4. On the General tab, click Enable Schema Validation, and then click Edit.
5. In the Edit Property dialog box, click On or Off in Property value, and then click OK twice.

Note

• To open Provisioning Manager, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Provisioning Server, and then click Provisioning Manager.
