To view the name of a namespace

1. Open Provisioning Manager.
2. In the console tree, double-click Namespaces.
3. Right-click the namespace for which you want to view the name, and then click Properties.
4. In the Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
5. The Namespace name dialog box contains the name.

Notes

• To open Provisioning Manager, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Provisioning Server, and then click Provisioning Manager.
• You cannot modify the name of a namespace. This restriction applies to both the name shown in the Namespace name dialog box and the name shown in the XML of the namespace.
• The red highlighting for a namespace in the console tree indicates a read-only namespace. You can modify only the permissions of a read-only namespace.
