To delete a namespace

1. Open Provisioning Manager.
2. In the console tree, double-click Namespaces.
3. Right-click the namespace that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
4. When prompted to confirm the deletion of the namespace, click Yes.

Caution

• Microsoft Provisioning Framework (MPF) does not maintain copies of namespaces. If you delete a namespace, you cannot add it back in unless you maintain a backup copy.

Notes

• To open Provisioning Manager, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Provisioning Server, and then click Provisioning Manager.
• The red highlighting for a namespace in the console tree indicates a read-only namespace. You cannot delete a read-only namespace.
