Filters
The Profiler uses filters to limit both the ammount of information streamed from the server to the client and the ammount of information displayed in the summary view area. Filters are authored in the Filter pane using the simplified Filter UI or by editing raw XML. A Profiler Filter has the following XML format.
The "filterBy" element is used to specify the fields that are to be used for filtering. All the fields specified as "field" elements in the "filterBy" element are combined into "AND" clauses. For each "field" element, all the values specified as "value" elments are combined into "OR" clauses.
