Displays categories of tasks that identify the type of action taken by the task.

Agent Tasks

Categorizes the following tasks that run either on an Operations Manager 2007 management server or a managed computer.

• Run command: Indicates that the task being created runs a command-line application or batch file.
  
  
• Run script: Indicates that the task being created runs a script on an agent computer.
  
  

Console Tasks

Categorizes the following tasks that are started in the Operations console and run against items displayed in the console window.

• Alert Command line: Indicates that the task being created targets an alert and that the task runs a command-line application or batch file.
  
  
• Command line: Indicates that the task being created runs a command-line application or batch file.
  
  
• Event Command line: Indicates that the task being created targets an event and that the task runs a command-line application or batch file.
