Use the Security tab on the Management Server Properties dialog box to specify security settings for agent-managed computers.

This tab contains the following elements.

Reject new manual agent installation

Enabled only if you have selected Override global server settings. Specifies that new installations of manual agents be rejected.

Review new manual agent installations in pending management view

Enabled only if you have selected Override global server settings. Specifies that new installations of manual agents be reviewed.

Auto-approve new manually installed agents

Enabled only if you have selected Override global server settings and Review new manual agent installations in pending management view. Specifies that new installations of manual agents be automatically approved.

Override global server settings

Specifies that you can override global server settings.

Allow this server to act as a proxy and discover managed objects on other computers

Specifies that the Management Server acts as a proxy and can discover managed objects on other computers.
