Use the General tab to give a name and description to the Web application, specify which management pack the object is a part of, and set authentication and proxy information.

The General tab contains the following elements:

Web Application Name

Specifies the name of your Web application.

Description

Specifies the description of the Web application.

Management Pack

Specifies what Management Pack in which the object resides.

Retry Count

Specifies the number of times the connection will be retried if an error is encountered while trying to connect to the Web application.

Authentication Method

Specifies which authentication method to use for requests in the transaction.

User Account

Specifies the user account to use for authentication.

Use a proxy server to connect

Specifies whether a proxy server should be used during requests.

Address

Specifies the proxy server address.

Port

Specifies the port for the proxy server.

Authentication Method

Specifies the authentication method for the proxy server.

User Account

Specifies the user account to use for authentication with the proxy server.
