Use the Report Parameter Area to create a report that provides information specific to type of data, time period covered, and other factors. The Report Parameter Area is available through the Computers pane of the Monitoring pane.

The Report Parameter Area is divided into three sections: one for specifying the time period, one for specifying the object monitored, and a variable pane that provides options that you can use to modify the standard report.

The time period section contains the elements described in the following table.

Element Description

From

Provides a list box from which you can select a day (or other time designation) to start collecting data for the report.

It also provides a spin box from which you can select a specific time for the start date.

To

Provides a list box from which you can select a day (or other time designation) to complete the collection of data for the report.

It also provides a spin box from which you can select a specific time for the finish date.

Time Zone

Provides a list box from which you can choose a time zone for the times you specified in the From and To boxes.

Use business hours

Specifies that you want to limit the data for the report to data collected during business hours.

Business hours

Available only if you selected Use business hours. Opens the Configure business hours dialog box, in which you can refine the definition of business hours.

The Monitoring Object section contains the elements described in the following table.

Element Description

Add

Opens the Add Object dialog box, in which you can add a new object.

Remove

Removes the object selected in the Name column.

Name

Provides the name of the monitoring objects.

Type

Provides the type for each monitoring object.

Path

Provides the path to each monitoring object.

Management Group

Provides the Management Group for each monitoring object.
