1. Log on to the computer with an account that is a member of the Operations Manager Administrators role for the Operations Manager 2007 management group.

2. In the Operations console, click the Search drop-down arrow and then click Advanced Search.

3. In the Advanced Search dialog box, in the Search for specific object types drop-down list, click the object type you are searching for.

4. Select one or more conditions for the search object.

5. Under Criteria description, click the underlined terms to define your search criteria and then click OK.

6. Click Save parameters to My Favorites to save the search criteria.

7. Click Search.
