Use the Monitoring tab to enable SSL monitoring, specify whether you want to collect health information for internal links or external links, or both, and indicate the number of links to follow from the base page.

The Monitoring tab contains the following elements:

Monitor SSL health on secure sites

Enables the following set of additional SSL monitors:
  • Expired certificate

  • Certificate authority root is not trusted

  • Invalid common name for the certificate

Enable health evaluation and performance collection for Resources

Specifies whether you want to enable health evaluation for resources. Resources are elements such as CSS files, images, and scripts.
Enable health evaluation and performance collection for Internal Links

Specifies whether to evaluate health on internal links. Internal links are links that are in the same domain as the base page.
Enable health evaluation and performance collection for External Links

Specifies whether to evaluate health on external links. External links are links to pages outside the domain of your base page.
Link traversal (number of clicks from the base page)

Indicates the depth of links to follow from the base page.Be careful in selecting the link traversal value. Tests may fail if the URLs being monitored and their child pages have many links and resources. The tests can take up large amounts of system resources.
