The deployment of Operations Manager 2007 can be divided into two major phases: requirement verification and component deployment.

Requirements Verification for Operations Manager 2007

Use the following steps to verify that your environment meets the system requirements for Operations Manager 2007:

Deployment of Operations Manager 2007 Components

The following steps provide guidance for deploying the Operations Manager 2007 components:

  2. Deploy Operations Manager 2007 gateway servers if the computers to be managed are not in domains or are in domains that do not have two-way trusts with the domains of their Root Management Server and secondary Management Server. For more information about gateway servers, see Gateway Server.
