Match Similar Words

You can broaden your search by specifying that the search look for similar words. This enables the search to include minor grammatical variations for a word or phrase. For example, if you type the word addin the keyword search box, Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Help searches on the terms "add," "adds," and "added."

To search with Match similar words

  1. In the navigation pane of the Help Viewer, click the Searchtab.
  2. In the Type in the word(s) to search forbox, type a word or a phrase.
  3. Select the Match similar wordscheck box.
  4. Click List Topicsto display a list of the topics that contain the words or phrase, or the like words or phrase you specified.
  5. In the list, double-click a topic title to display the topic.
