Web Console

Use the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Web console to view, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts remotely.

You can open the Web console from the MOM Administrator console.

To open the Web console from the Administrator console

  1. In the Navigation pane, click the Microsoft Operations Managernode.
  2. In the Detail pane, click Start Web Console.

If the Web console is inactive, the link to open the console is unavailable.

You can also open the Web console from Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. To open the Web Console from the browser, in the Address bar, type http://[computername]:1272.
