Performance Data View Properties: Criteria

Criteria
This tab has two input areas, one for selecting performance data and one for specifying the corresponding descriptive parameters that are used to qualify the performance data. In the Which performance data do you want to view?list, select a performance item by selecting the check box beside the description that describes the item. When you select an item, a corresponding hyperlink is displayed in the View description (click the underlined value to edit)input area. Click the hyperlink to open a dialog box, and then provide the required information. The following table lists the available attributes and describes the associated information that you are prompted to provide.
Performance data Required view description information
for specified object Click link to open the Objectdialog box. Type a complete text string or use wildcards to search for an object name.
measured in specified time period Click link to open a dialog box. Use the dialog to specify a time range or a time interval. The default option is In the lasttime interval, which takes the format of time value, time measurement. Type an integer to specify the time value, use the list to choose one of these time measurements: days, hours, minutes, seconds.

The other option is Within the time range:. When this option is selected it is necessary to at least one time range. Afterand Beforeranges are available. Use the appropriate list to select the date for each.

for specified instance Click link to open the Instancedialog box. Type a complete text string or use wildcards to search for an instance name.
for specified counter Click link to open the Counterdialog box. Type a complete text string or use wildcards to search for counter.
measured on specified computer Click link to open the Computer Namedialog box. Type a complete text string or use wildcards to provide the Domain:and Computer:information.
in specified computer group Click link to open the Computer Groupdialog box. Type a complete text string or use wildcards to search for a computer group.
