View, create, edit, and delete performance rules for a rule
group. When you click
Performance Rulesin the Navigation pane, a table
listing all available rules appears in Detail pane.

Name
- Specifies the name of the rule. The table contains the
following information about a rule:

Enabled
- Indicates whether the rule is currently enabled.

Type
- Specifies the performance rule type:
measuringor
threshold.

Provider Type
- Specifies the type of information provider, such as
Windows Event Logor
WMI.

Provider Name
- Specifies the user-defined name that identifies a particular
instance of a provider, such as
Security for Windows Log.

Response
- Indicates whether a rule match generates a response, and if so,
what response.
To create a performance rule
- In the Navigation pane, right-click
Performance Rules, and click
Create Performance Rule.
To edit a rule
- In the Detail pane, right-click a rule, and click
Properties.
To delete a rule
- In the Detail pane, right-click a rule, and click
Delete.
