Use this tab to specify how the attribute value or key is computed.
Important
These options are available only if you select Registry valueon the Registry-Based Attribute Properties: Typetab.
For a registry value, select from the following options:
- Check registry value for existence
- Specify whether the attribute value is computed by checking that the registry value exists.
- Retrieve registry value and convert to
- Specify that the registry value be retrieved as the selected data type: string, integer, float, or IP address.
For a registry key, select from the following options:
- Check registry key for existence
- Specify whether the attribute value is computed by checking that the registry key exists.
- Retrieve key's default value as
- Specify that the registry key be retrieved as the selected data type: string, integer, float, or IP address.
