Rule Group Properties: Advanced

In Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000, you could create rule groups as child groups to multiple parent rule groups. MOM 2005 does not allow this feature. If you import a Management Pack created in MOM 2000 that contains rule groups with multiple parents, use this tab to mark a rule group as deleted, which then breaks the link between a rule group and its multiple parents. The rule group still exists; marking it as deleted only breaks the relationship between the parent and child.

This tab contains the following options:

Rule group ownership options
Export as a vendor produced rule. Export if it is enabled or disabled
Export as a vendor produced rule. If the rule is disabled, do not export
Export as a customer created/modified rule (default)
Mark this rule group as deleted.
Select this check box if you want to remove the relationship between the parent and this rule group.

You can use the Advancedtab only when you turn on Authoring mode.
