Use this tab to the specify how often and when the MOM Management Server runs computer and attribute discovery. During discovery, Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) performs the following tasks:
- Finds computers that match the managed computer specification
- Collects computer attributes
- Evaluates computer group membership
- Installs or uninstalls agents as appropriate
This tab contains the following options:
- Interval for running attribute discovery ___ minutes
- The default frequency is set to 60 minutes. Click the arrows to increase or decrease the frequency with which the attribute discovery runs. The minimum is 5 minutes, the maximum is 1440 minutes. The default frequency is 60 minutes.
- Run computer discovery time
- The default time is set to 2:05 A.M. Click the arrows to change the time.
- Interval for computer discovery ___ day(s)
- The default interval is set to 1 day. Click the arrows to change this value. The maximum number of days is 7.
