Use the MOM Administrator console to configure and administer MOM. In order to view all the nodes in the console Navigation pane and have access to all administration tasks, the account that you are using must be a member of the MOM Administrators group.
Note
What you see in the Navigation pane of the MOM Administrator console, and the actions that you can take, are determined by membership in the MOM local groups, as follows:
- MOM Authors see the root node, the Operations node, and the Management Packs node.
- MOM Users see the root node and the Operations node.
