Change an Agentless Managed Computer to an Unmanaged Computer

Use the MOM Administrator console to change how computers are managed. To change an agentless managed computer to an unmanaged computer, you must uninstall the agent on the agent-managed computer.

To change an agentless managed computer to an unmanaged computer

  1. In the Navigation pane, expand Administration, and click Computers.
  2. In the Detail pane, click Agentless Managed Computers, right-click the name of the agent-managed computer that you want to work with, and then click Uninstall Agentto start the Uninstall Agent Wizard.
  3. Follow the instructions in the wizard to uninstall the agent on the agent-managed computer.

After agentless management is stopped, the computer is listed in the Navigation pane in the Unmanaged Computers node of Administration/Computers.
