Send Page
The Send Page object will use a
device to send a message to a pager. The Send Page object requires
a modem to be attached to the Action Server that is running the
Policy.
Note: The Send Page object only
supports single-byte, ASCII characters. It does not support
double-byte, unicode, or Japanese characters.
How it is used
The Send Page object can be used to
send a notification of a critical problem to an administrator that
is offsite or may have gone home for the evening.
Configuration
To configure the Send Page object you
will need to know the modem that you are using to send the page,
the phone number of the pager. You may also require a PIN code or
password that is needed to send pages.

Country Code

Type the country code of the
pager phone number.

Phone
|
Type the phone number of the
pager you are sending the message to. You can use commas (,) to
create pauses when dialing the phone number.

PIN
|
Type the PIN code if it is
required to send a page.

Password
|
Type the password if it is
required to send a page.
|
Message
|
Type the message that will be
sent to the pager. When sending a page via DTMF you can only use
the numbers 0-9 in the message.

Click the ellipsis (...) button to browse for the modem that will be
used to send the message.
