Process Exchange Email
The Process Exchange Email object
will reply, forward, redirect, and delete email that has been
received by the Read Exchange Email object or filtered with the
Filter Exchange Email object.
Note: This object is incompatible with
the Pipeline Databus.
How it is used
The Process Exchange Email object
can be used to automatically reply to email that have been sent to
a designated message to give the sender a notice that the email has
been received as is being processed. You could also use the Process
Exchange Email object to redirect email that have been sorted to
the appropriate person within your organization.
Configuration
When configuring the Process
Exchange Email object you need to choose the action that you are
taking on the email and then configure the associated tabs.
To select the type of
action you want to take:

Open the Process Exchange Email
object for editing.

Select the Type that matches the action that you want to
take:

Reply - Details Tab
Message
|
Type the message body. To use
HTML formatting, you will must select HTML as the Format on
the Advanced tab.

Include original message in
reply
|
Select to add the original
message in the reply.
|
Prefix each line with
|
Select or type characters that
will be placed before each line of the original message when it is
added to the reply.
|
Recipients
|
The list displays the email
addresses that the email will be sent to. To remove an item, select
it and click Remove. To edit an item,
double-click it. To add an item, click Add, specify the Email
address and whether it belongs in the Cc: or Bcc: field and
click OK.

Reply - Attachments Tab
Attachments
|
The list displays the
attachments that will be sent with the email. To remove an item,
select it and click Remove. To edit an
item, double-click it. To add an item, click Add, specify the path of the attachment and click
OK.

Fail if an attachment is
missing
|
Select to cause the Process
Exchange Email object to fail if any of the attachments cannot be
found when the email is being sent.

Reply - Advanced Tab
Priority
|
Select the priority that the
email will be sent with.
|
Format
|
Select the format that will be
used for the message body. Some SPAM filters may not allow Rich
Text or HTML email.

Reply - Connect Tab
Profile
|
Type the name of the Exchange
profile that will be used to send the email. You can use the
ellipsis (...) button to browse for the
profile.
|
Forward - Details Tab
Message
|
Type the message body. To use
HTML formatting, you will need to select HTML as the Format on
the Advanced tab.

|
Select to add the original
message in the forwarded message.

Delete from Server - Details
Tab
You do not need to perform any
configuration to delete the messages from the server. However, you
will need to have set the Read Exchange Email object to
Leave mail on server.
