Add Audit Log
The Add Audit Log object appends a message to the audit log of a notification enabling you to track any actions that have been taken in response to an issue.
How it is used
The Add Audit Log object can be used to automatically update a notification with all the audit information of the steps that were taken by a Policy that attempted to diagnose the issue that cause the notification.
Configuration
To configure the Add Audit Log object you will need to the know the Class, Name, and Event information or ID of the notification you are modifying. You will also need to know the message that you are adding to the audit log.
Note: Opalis Software, Inc. recommends that you use Published Data from other objects to specify the values of the Class, Name, Event, or ID.

Server
Click the ellipsis button (...) and select the Smarts connection that you want to use.
Id
Select and then type the Id of the notification. This field refers to the InternalEventHandle field in Smarts.
Class
Select and type the Class, Name, and Event that will identify the notification.
Message
Type the message that will be appended to the audit log.

The ID of the notification.
Class
The value of the Class field.
Name
The value of the Name field.
Event
The value of the Event field.
Event text
The value of the Event Text field.
Severity
The severity of the notification.
In maintenance
Indicates whether the device where the notification occurred is in maintenance mode.
Trouble ticket Id
The ID of a trouble ticket associated with this notification.
Class display name
The display name of the class.
Instance display name
The display name of the instance.
Event display name
The display name of the event.
Owner
The owner of the notification.
Element class name
The class name of the element of the notification.
Element name
The name of the element.
Event state
The state of the event.
Source domain name
The domain that the source belongs to.
Active
Indicates whether the notification is still active.
Occurrence count
The number of occurrences of this notification on the InCharge server.
First notified at
The date and time that the notification was first generated.
Last notified at
The date and time that the notification was last generated.
Last cleared at
The date and time when the notification was cleared. Not valid if the notification has not been cleared.
Last changed at
The date and time when the notification properties were changed.
Is root
Indicates whether the notification is the root.
Event type
The type of the event that generated the notification.
Acknowledged
Indicates whether the notification has been acknowledged.
Clear on acknowledge
Indicates whether the notification will be cleared when it is acknowledged.
Category
The category that the notification belongs to.
Impact
The value of the impact field of the notification.
Certainty
The value of the certainty field of the notification.
User defined 1
The value of user defined field 1.

The value of user defined field 3.
User defined 4
The value of user defined field 4.
