
Reset User Password
The Reset User Password object
enables you to reset the password of an existing user.
How it is used
Use the Reset User Password to
automatically reset a user’s password as part of a self-service
process driven by a service catalog.
Configuration
To configure the Reset User Password
object you need to know which connection you would like to use, the
idenity of the user that you will be reseting the password for, and
the new password that will be used.
Properties Tab
Connection

Click the ellipsis button
(...) and select the
Microsoft Active Directory connection that you want to use.

Identity
|
Type the DN, SID, GUID, UPN or Domain\Name of the user
that you want to reset the
password for.

UserPassword

Type the new password for the
user.
