Preparing to connect to Microsoft Active Directory

When using the Opalis Integration Pack Version 2 for Microsoft Active Directory you must perform some pre-installation steps and discover information about your Microsoft Active Directory system before proceeding. The following provides a list of items that you must either install or discover before you can connect to the Microsoft Active Directory system:

•	The address of a domain controller.

•	The name of the domain that you are managing.

•	Username and password of user with appropriate rights to add, remove, and modify objects in Active Directory.
