Creating connections for Microsoft Active Directory
Before you can use the objects in this Integration Pack, you must create a connection to each Microsoft Active Directory system that you will be targeting with the Integration Pack. Then, when you use an object, you select the connection that you want that object to use from the Connection field in the object. Before creating connections to Microsoft Active Directory, make sure that you have collected all information about the Microsoft Active Directory system that is required. See Preparing to connect to Microsoft Active Directory.
To create connections for the Microsoft Active Directory:
1.
In the Opalis Integration Server Client, click the Options menu and select MS Active Directory 2. The MS Active Directory 2 dialog appears.

Click Add. The Connection dialog appears.
3.
Type a Name for the connection.
4.
Type the Server of a domain controller.
5.
Type the Domain that will be managed.
6.
Type the User to use to connect to Microsoft Active Directory.
7.
Type the Password associated with the User you specified.
8.
Click Ok.
9.
Optionally, you can click Test Connection to determine if the information that you have specified is valid.
10.
Click Finish.
