Run AutoSys Command
The Run AutoSys Command object enables you to run a CA AutoSys WA command that you specify, and to populate fields with information that the command will use when it runs.How it is usedUse the Run AutoSys Command object to run a CA AutoSys WA command as a result of a decision-making branch in a Policy.ConfigurationTo configure the Run AutoSys Command object you need to know the name of the connection you want to use, the name of the command that you want to run, and the values of the fields that you will have to configure as part of this operation.Details Tab
Name Click the ellipsis button (...) and select the connection that you want to use. Command Click the ellipsis button (...) and select the name of the CA AutoSys WA command that you want to run. The commands that appear in this list appear dynamically and depend on how CA AutoSys WA is configured in your organization. Fields Click the Select fields button. From the dialog, select the fields in the Available column and click >>. The field moves to the Selected column. Fields that appear in this section of the dialog appear dynamically and depend on how CA AutoSys WA is configured in your organization, and on the command that you select in the Command field. Click OK. On the Properties dialog, click in the field to the right of the field name and type the value in the field, or insert a Published Data item. If an ellipsis button (...) appears, click the ellipsis button and select the value from the pop-up menu.Available Published DataIn addition to the fields below, this object also publishes any items that you selected after clicking the Select fields button.
Name Description Command line The complete syntax of the command that was sent to CA AutoSys WA. AutoSys connection The CA AutoSys WA connection that was used. Error output The error output returned by the CA AutoSys WA command. Exit code The exit code returned by the CA AutoSys WA command. Standard output The output returned by the CA AutoSys WA command. Command The individual command that was sent to CA AutoSys WA.
