Call BLCLI
The Call BLCLI object enables you to launch a BladeLogic command on any BladeLogic server in your network and populate it with parameters.
How it is used
Use the Call BLCLI object to launch a BladeLogic audit job as part of an automated Opalis Policy.
Configuration
To configure the Call BLCLI object you need to know the name of the connection to the BladeLogic server that you will use, the name of the namespace that holds the command, the name of the command that you want to use, and the parameters that you will provide to the command.

Connection
Click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for the BladeLogic server connection that you want to use.
Namespace
Click the ellipsis button and browse for the namespace that contains the command that you want to launch.
Command
Click the ellipsis button and browse for the command that you want to launch. Parameters appear below the Command field.
If there are multiple versions of the same command, the Command version drop-down list appears in the parameters list. Select the version of the command that you want to use from the drop-down list.
Parameters
When you select a command in the Command field, the parameters for that command appear in the field below. Click in the field to the right of each parameter and type a value, or insert a Published Data item.
Available Published Data
Published Data items are generated dynamically according to the command and parameters that you launched from this object. Each parameter becomes a Published Data item. In addtion, this object always generates the follow items:
 
Name
Description
Connection
The name of the connection to the BladeLogic server that you used.
Namespace
The namespace that contained the command that you launched.
Command
The command that you launched.
CommandOutput
The results of running the command.
CommandOutputAsList
The results of running the command, listed on separate lines.
