Acknowledge Alarm
The Acknowledge Alarm object enables you to acknowledge or unacknowledge an alarm that you specify.How it is usedUse the Acknowledge Alarm object to mark an alarm as acknowledged before launching a diagnostic Policy.ConfigurationTo configure the Acknowledge Alarm object you need to know the name of the connection to the CA Spectrum server that you will use, and the identification number of the alarm that you want to acknowledge or unacknowledge.Details tab
Name Click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for the CA Spectrum connection that you want to use. State Select one of the following options:
• Acknowledge – select this option to mark the alarm as acknowledged.
• Unacknowledge – select this option to mark the alarm as unacknowledged. Id Type the identification number of the alarm that you want to acknowledge or unacknowledge, or insert a Published Data item.Available Published Data
Name Description Alarm Id The identification number of the alarm that you acknowledged or unacknowledged. Connection Name The name of the server connection that you used. Server The name of the CA Spectrum server that you connected to. User The user name that you used to connect to the CA Spectrum server.
