Generate Report
The Generate Report object generates a report for an element that you specify.How it is usedUse the Generate Report object to generate a report on an element after you have discovered elements in your infrastructure.ConfigurationTo configure the Generate Report object you need to know the name of the report template, or CA eHealth Service Profile, that you will base the report on, the name of the user or group who can access the report, the date range you will use to generate the report, the element that you want to generate a report on, and the port on the web server that you will use to publish the report.Details tab
Server Click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for the CA eHealth connection that you want to use. Template Click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for the template, or CA eHealth Service Profile, that you will base the report on. Web User Click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for the name or group who will be allowed to view the report. Name Type a name for the report that you are generating. Range Click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for the date range of data that you want to include in the report. Element
1. Click the ellipsis button (...), the Select Element dialog appears.
2. Type the name of the Group that the element belongs to.
3. If you are using CA eHealth 5.7, type the name of the Group Type the element belongs to.
4. Type the Element Type.
5. Type the name of the Element. If you have specified the other fields click the ellipsis button (...) and select the Element.Advanced tab
HTTP Port Type the port number on the web server that you want to use to publish the report. The default port is 80.Available Published Data
Name Description Report Name The name that you assigned to the report. Port The port number on the web server that you used to publish the report. Range The date range that you selected for generating the report. Connection The name of the connection to the CA eHealth server that you used. Element The name of the element that you generated the report for. Report settings template The template, or CA eHealth Service Profile that you based the report on. URL The URL where the report is published. Web user The name of the user or group who is allowed to view the report.
